Bruce Harvey has been a bassist (electric and upright)for over 45 years in a wide variety of musical styles, performing with old time fiddlers, country, rock, blues, new grass and jazz and extensively on original music with local Ozark musicians.
He and Elisha Burchfield (mandolin/guitar)formed the trio Uncut Dawg in 2008 and supported Pierre Bastide for the first time that year at the Walnut Valley Festival and subsequently on each of Pierre’s playing vacations to the United States. Uncut Dawg performed at the 2010 & 2011 Yonder Mountain Harvest Festivals.
Franco Americana first performed as a duo in 2011. We are pleased to again have Elisha with us for this performance on Mulberry Mountain.
